Our passion for children is what led us to develop United Sports Clinic. We bring total body, functional athleticism to kids of every age. Our program offers inner-city kids the opportunity to learn and practice physical fitness in ways that may be unavailable or lacking instruction for them to perform within the school system.
United Sports Clinic offers conditioning training that is tailored to address the youth athlete’s specific, individual needs and integrated across the following three key areas:
Speed and Agility
Proper movement techniques with increased force production will lead to maximized potential.
Strength and Endurance
Knowing when to provide bursts of power in the appropriate situations and having the capacity to outlast competition.
As athletes naturally increase in height, weight, strength and aggressiveness, the need for improved joint integrity is vital for reducing the chance of Injury.
United Sports Clinic introduces strength, power, agility, speed, balance and coordination to the youth athlete. All of these are essential key components that embody the qualities of any professional athlete. Most inner-city kids don’t have access to this type of program unless they travel to a few towns away in the Suburbs.
Conditioning is a vital component of all sports across all age groups. As athletes grow, it is vital that they reinforce good early habits and recognize the importance of developing neuro-muscular patterns through strength and conditioning.
Athletic fundamentals must be developed, trained and directed towards functional skills in the youth athlete. Focusing on progressing and maintaining athletic movement while establishing and refining fundamental skills of speed, agility, and power is key. This repeated rehearsal leads to permanent and positive athletic changes.
